Braille and Audio-Document Transcriptions
Braille is a tactual code that enables people who are blind to read and write independently. This system for reading by touch is created by arrangements of one to six raised
dots within a Braille cell. Different arrangements of these dots indicate letters, numbers, punctuation and capitalization.
DT Interpreting provides Braille transcription services that are
custom-prepared, formatted and professionally presented to meet any need…in English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, as well as the Nemeth Code Mathematics.
Just like American Sing Language and foreign languages interpreting, having your institution's essential documents transcribed into Braille is also an important part of
compliance with laws and regulations under the American with Disabilities Act.
